Ginger has been in nursing for over 30 years, specializing in wound care since 1990. She is the lead wound care nurse and Safety Director for Ballad Healthcare at Holston Valley Hospital in Kingsport, Tennessee. She is wound certified and received her Hyperbaric certification in 2017.
Ginger is the recipient of the Daisy Award, a nation-wide award for extraordinary nurses that recognizes their compassion and exceedingly great care. In addition to the Daisy Award, she has received the Christine B. Triebe award and a Service Excellence award, both given to her by the hospital she works for
