1. Who Can Take Introduction to Hyperbaric Medicine?

2. How Many Hours Is the Course?
The WCEP Introduction to Hyperbaric Medicine course is an intensive 40+ hour program delivered over four days. In addition there are 5-hours of pre-course online work to familiarize you with terminology, and prepare you to get the most out of the 4 day livestream sessions. Most license types are eligible for up to 45 hours* of CME/CEU's.

3. Is the Course Approved by the UHMS?
Yes. WCEP's Introduction to Hyperbaric Medicine course is approved by the Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society (UHMS) as a designated introductory course in hyperbaric medicine. The course also meets the minimum 40-hour training standards established by the UHMS and has been recognized by other professional organizations involved in hyperbaric medicine education and certification. 4. What If I Cannot Attend All Four Days as Scheduled?
We understand that healthcare professionals often have demanding schedules. If circumstances arise, WCEP allows participants to reschedule portions of the course for a $25 administrative fee.
To maintain compliance with educational requirements, course days must be completed in sequence. Our team works with students to identify upcoming course dates that allow them to complete any missed sessions while preserving the integrity of the learning experience.
5. Is the Course Offered Online or In Person?
Both. For maximum convenience, WCEP offers the Introduction to Hyperbaric Medicine as a live-streamed educational experience.
